Data Modeling Laboratory at Hosei University performs multi-disciplinary research and development in the field of computational optimization. Its purpose is to design and implement optimization algorithms for large scale problems in engineering, especially for design problems in the control theory and the digital signal processing. Particular emphasis is place on optimization algorithms using Sparse Optimization and Matrix Rank Minimization.
